YardTug is a supervised play tug toy, letting your dog tug & spin for as long as they like.

📦 What’s included in the kit?

Ground sleeve, pole (S/M/L) with covered bungee leader, safety clip & a knotted rope toy.

📏 Which size should I buy?

Small (≤16 kg): Cavs, Spaniels, Terriers

Medium (16–31 kg): Beagles, Border Collies, Kelpies

Big (≥32 kg): Labs, GSDs, Staffies, Kelpies/Heelers


Between Sizes? 

Powerful/athletic → size up. 

Gentle/new to tug → size down.

🐶 Is it safe?

It’s a toy, however we recommend supervised play only. 

 

Replace attachments when worn out. Remove the pole when not supervising.

🔧 How do I install the Yard Tug?

1) Pick a flat spot & hammer the sleeve into the grass.

2) Insert the pole & clip on attachment.

3) There is no step 3, it's that easy!

 

For very strong dogs or frequent users, use quick set cement to secure the sleeve into the ground.

🏡 Will it work in my yard (sand, pavers)?

Yes, standard sleeve for normal soil & concrete set for sandy/soft ground. For hard surfaces, use a garden bed or our indoor plate base (when available).

⏱️ How long & how often should we play?

Most dogs are happy with 5–10 min sessions once or twice a day.

 

For puppies/seniors: keep it short & gentle, start with the knotted rope toy, and stop if they tire.

💪 How tough is it? What if it breaks?

If the pole, bungee, or stainless hardware fails under normal supervised use in 60 days, we’ll replace or refund.

🌦️ Can I leave it outside? Care tips?

Leave the sleeve in the ground. Store the pole out of direct sun when not in use. Rinse after salt exposure. Hand-wash tug toys; air dry.
